2012-2hours and 45 minutes of CGI and action. I didn't expect anything more except that it's about 45 minutes TOO LONG! much much too long.

Theres a seen with a bunch of exotics in a plane that get TRASHED, some nice cars for 10-15 minutes of the movie, including the main actor sitting in a Aston Martin for a while.

More product placements. I hate this trend to make movies 2 hour commercials. Soon, the will be running a moving "ticker" along the bottom of the screen thanking manufacturers for supplying whatever is in the scene.

fell asleep while watching it, still need to finish it, but it seems really drawn out, lenghty.

Also rented Observe & Report, heard good things about it, let's see how it goes.

Haven't been to a movie in the theater since...... geez, it must have been "O Brother Where Art Thou". I'm on a semi-permanent boycott of Hollywood due to their glorification of violence.

The last movie we rented was "The Kite Runner", which was touching.

Last one I watched was Funny People, all I can say is its not funny at all.

Bruno... WOW, talk about shock value. Some pretty wack stuff in there...

Also got 500 Days of Summer, saw it in theaters, was reeeeally good, so I got it again..

Irreversible...? Very well done movie, but quite tough to watch at time, My favortie scene is from the party scene forward, or... backward... :p

I just saw 4 Christmases on the airplane.

I will give the CIA a clue. Forget waterboarding. Just show this to any terrorist 186 times and they will give you any information you want.

I usually love those movies. Huge fan of Kuzko, Leelo and Stich, Monsters Inc etc..Have all these DVDs..but UP just wasnt funny nor cute. Even a little sad.

I was really looking forward to it as i loved the trailer when the little boy is scared on the porch waiting for the old man to open the door but past that....Not much made me laugh. Big disappointment.

    That makes sense.

You went in expecting a different movie because it was animated.

Yes and no. I went expecting a comedy/cute movie, the trailer didn't really give me any heads -up about it being a sad movie. I havent watched a good animation movie since Ice Age 2 or Monsters Inc. Alien vs Robots and Cloudy Meatballs were so so. Area 51 maybe ?

I can agree the trailers were misleading.

Where you confuse me is you seem to think it wasnt a good movie. Do you really think that or do you just wish it wasnt a sad movie ?

Animation in this country still has a stigma attached where everyone thinks they are kids movie and 'cute'. Thats not how it works in the rest of the world and I hope we eventually come to accept that animated films can take on any tone from comedy to serious and sad.
