What goes better with a Dodger win than chicken and waffles????

I'm sure everyone's got their favorite late night food binge place! :)

When Cards were in town, damn straight I'd go.

We'd bust out of Chavez, make a beeline through Echo into Silverlake to Red Lion for brew & cold Jagermeister shot, then House of Pies or Palermos in Los Feliz.

I'm assuming you went to Pico - I used to live close to the Gower Roscoe's.

Been a while since I called folks - guess I ought to find out how my Mom found out chicken & waffles was a good mix. She'd make that, but only on Wednesdays, when we both managed to get out of having to go to Prayer Meeting. Trust me, her chicken & waffles were better than either Prayer Meeting or Roscoes.

I was at that game last night too. The only thing I remember were the $11 dollar beers and $15 parking. I hadn't been to a Dodger game in a long time, obviously.

But Roscoes... I've been there plenty!!

not to hijack, but right around the corner from Dodgers stadium is Phillippe's french dip sandwiches. Uggh, so good.

When the wife was pregnant she requested on late one night and I faithfully made the trip. 30 miles to get a sandwich was a bit much, but it was sure good when I got home.
