i bet anthony davis (another brit) would do very well replacing JB for the rest of this season. i'd love to see BAR put JB on the bench for the rest of the year.

If Button's main goal was to get out of BAR and into Williams then I think his current course of action was *mostly* right. He had an obligation to himself to stall the Honda deal for as long as possible so the option window would close without an agreement in place. If the team principle knew beforehand that Button didn't want to drive for the team then he would most likely have used that as a bargaining chip in order to get Honda to sign the deal sooner thus guaranteeing Button racing for them in 2005.
