Can anyone tell me what Chris Harris(Autocar) is on when he says that the stradale is the most difficult 0-30mph car on sale. In the most recent test with the 911 GT3-RS he seems to describe launching off with 7000rpm on the tach and (surprise surprise!) burning the tyres to putty. I'm trying a stradale out on Monday but would like some input from anyone who has personal experience. Ta

    Stradman,

I'm not sure you going to find many people who have actually tried out
    their LC yet.

All the indications are that you will need a new clutch after 5-6 Launches.

I certainly intend to try mine when I get it on the track in the Spring.
But until then I can't help.

In the Car & Driver test they said that a properly working LC in the Stradale let the clutch go around 3500 RPM. The 7000 RPM from the Autocar test does not work on this car or any other for that matter except to reduce your clutch to dust in three tries instead of ten :)

"the most difficult 0-30mph car on sale"

Does he mean keeping the car in the straight line from a launching start?

You would probably have to ask him personally as any cock who comes to this conclusion cannot be second guessed.
