I gotta say...those of you who are doing this are making yourselves look like idiots. It's one thing to have fun and use our "dialect" within this forum, but when we start to offend others or say stupid sh*t, it makes us all look bad (and immature for that matter). Common now EC, we are the best out there...now let's act like it! OK, I got that off my chest...I feel better now. ;-)

 

i totaly agree that we should not offend anyone but at the same time he could have taken a few mintues of his time to explain his situation to everyone. i don't think it is asking too much of him. he apparently took time to post an add at f-ad section.

I think he should have handled it in a different maner. just a little post saying hey guys i found another car that i have been wanting for a long time and are trying to sell the CS at cost. that would have put everyone suspicious mind at ease. Hey again he has done nothing wrong . at any rate i hope both him and Utkarsh enjoy their cars.

a car was posted on the Internet as being for sale. somebody bought. that somebody is reselling it.

who cares? how does this even vaguely affect you? it's definitely none of my business - why is it your business?

doody, it does not effect me and i realy couldn't care less who buys or sells a car on this site or any other site!

my whole point is that the reason why everyone jumped on him (excluding me and i suggest you read all the post) was that other memebers on EC wanted the car and i tought it should have been handled better.

Please don't get me involved with whomever doubted his motives.

 

As you said it, this is internet. He bought a car posted on internet, and he is selling it on internet. So, if someone else has any opinion about that transaction on the internet, that person has the rights to voice his opinion on internet as well. That's how it is, you can not stop anyone from having and voicing an opinion.

Now although i am not the one that made any comment to him or on the issue in anyway, the guy did PM me in the very beginning when Eric 1st posted about the car for sale. he PM'ed me twice asking about interest-only loan that i posted about when the car is being discussed in a thread, no hello of any sort, no thanks of any sort after i answered his question. thus, if i have to make a guess, i will say he prolly isn't too smooth in handling this whole situation.

 

Guys...let's just let Uktarsh and Dan do their business and let's get back to ours. It would be a shame to see this transaction fall through because of extraneous chatter from those of us who aren't involved. All of your thoughts and feelings are noted and appreciated...hopefully we will all learn something from this situation. Thanks...

 

I've read the relevant threads - and suggest everyone chill out.

Bear in mind he was in Spain for 2 weeks and returned to loads of voice mails and 700+ emails.

Busy, coming and going.

What's done is done and beyond that, let the man do what he's going to do.

our personalities and our style in this forum.

we are all a tight family here, I CANNOT SEE ANYONE, doing what you
say he/she is doing.

but anyway, let these people do their business transaction and finish
this ****. theres more than 1 CS on the market.

go ahead let the cat out of the bag i think this whole thing is stupid it quite clear that dans intention was to make some money off it or he would have posted it on the general disscusion that he want one of us to get it meaning, the ferrari chat family but he did not want to do that because we all no what he paid for it. Utkarsh at the same time posted anyone want to sell there cs so dan replyed maybe he thought let me just get rid of the car without hassle utkarsh lives in nj so it could be a easy sell. Dan if these pms are in fact tru then tell us who is pming you if they are not tru then that means that you want to flip it and this would be a easy way to back out of the deal with utkarsh. Whatever your intention and your final discesion is good for you and i am glad to hear that you found a f40 that is all of our dreams as you well know.
