"presented as-raced in 2003 Le Mans ...." Feb '05 Sports Car Market, page 107, results of the Christie's July '04 auction. Not much of a description, but it seems like a fantastically well bought car. I haven't seen too many of these for sale. Am I missing something?
Cant be a Prodrive or Zackspeed car . Must be that 550 Maranello GT3 prepared by Enjoleras racing in France . Itcompeted against 996 GT3 RS . Was built on a crashed 550 Maranello .
"Built on a crashed Maranello" makes sense. Another $70k for a rebuild doesn't sound bad - But maybe I've inhaled too much exhaust. I guess no one's going to sell me a 575GTC for under $200k then?
In the current GT racing world, strictly a "low budget" car, never in danger of seeing the podium. Still, nice for track days......
