LeMans and Grand Prix are two of the few DVDs I've actually bought and rewatched. Not sure if they're better on BluRay, but certainly worth owning if you own a car whose marque has a horse on its badge.

It looks like crap, at least on my cable system.
The HD channel is letterbox, but then the right & left of the screen are letterboxed, too, so everything is stretched vertically. SD channel on the HDTV has huge letterboxing on the sides, too, still makes everyone tall & skinny.
On a SD TV, I think it's still stretched (since I should be seeing the same proportions as the SD channel on my widescreen TV), PLUS it sounds like crap through the built-in speakers. Who's got external audio still connected to a square TV?!?

Or maybe I'm just accustomed to the width of 21st century people, and all those skinny French people from back then don't look right to my eyes any more... ;)

If I'm going to be watching this over the weekend, I've got to hope I have it somewhere.
