    Hello from Germany,

    I just read in the newspaper, that the second main character in Steve MQueen's movie 'Le Mans' passed away yesterday. Siegfried Rauch, playing the role of Delayney's competitor 'Erich Stahler', driving the 512S, while enjoying good health at the age of 85, he fell down the stairs and suffered fatal injuries.

    That's a shame. Just a reminder that we all need to be more careful as we get up in years. Stahler was a worthy opponent for McQueen's Delaney, and he drove for the "good guys". R.I.P., Siegfried.

    Just a small detail correction due to our overly hurrying news media.
    They corrected it after my message.
    Not the injuries caused by falling down the stairs were the reason, but a fatal heart attack directly afterwards.
