Defintely there is no brake fluid overflow tube. Where exactly is this tube, the front or rear of the car?

If it's in the left front of your Mondial then thats your overflow brake fluid. The system overpressurizes and the fluid comes out the top of the reservoir and out that tube at the bottom. Especially if you've just had service and they put in too much fluid. Mine did it twice briefly over the past three yrs.

Ah yes, on my 1988 3.2 with ABS there is an overflow tube on the cap of the brake reservoir, that goes down and empties in the the front wheel well.

I thought this was an overflow for when eg. one was racing and the heat boiled fluid and might need a place to vent. Or when doing a brake job and pushing caliper pads back that can sometimes overflow a reservoir. In each case I thought the purpose is to prevent the pressure from damaging the tank. I have never noticed overflow, but there is some residue of fluid there on mine, so it might burp some fluid out under certain conditions.

There is no reference to the function of this overflow tube in my ABS manual. Indeed, the diagrams shows the vent tube in the 328 ABS system, while the Mondial ABS has none. But my Mondial has the vented cap too.

It is possible that at your service done they over topped up the brake fluid. That is quite a bit of fluid leak you have. Check the level, it should be at the top seam of the tank, that is the high fluid mark. You could use a turkey baster and take out some fluid to bring it down to the high level in the reservoir if it is overfilled. The cap in the front trunk is very visible and accessible.

Or, if you just let it vent out it will probably settle at the level it needs.

Are you getting any ABS warning lights on the dash?

Thanks much appreciated. It purely was an overfill and after reducing the fluid in the tank to max level and a drive there was nothing more coming from the tube. ABS lights only during ignition phase as it should be. Thanks again !
