How did you disable the ignition? Is the best way to jack up one side of the car and turn the rear wheel to roll the engine over? Do you recommend doing this hot or cold?

    Turn main electric off, easy

Jack up the side your doing a leakdown on leave the opposite wheel touching the ground or just chuck it with a black to keep it from spinning. Pull all the plugs.
Do it warm so your hand dont get cold.
Wear pink socks it's Enzo's trick, I learned from his close friend ;)

For leakdown you don't do anything with ignition. Most efficient way is to read your degree wheel to put every piston at TDC compression with that valve set closed to test the leak.
