Reminds me of when i was considerably younger and thought it would be a great idea to build a cobra replica and stuff a big-block ex-ethanol keith black motor in it. Utterely undriveable. It just used to spin around in circles and induce unwanted fluids in the pants area....

    Now THAT is funny Eddie!

I have all these Historic race cars hanging from the ceiling and walls with these big plans to build 1000 HP engines and dominate a GFRT race. Talk to the PRO drivers that drove them back in the day and the cars were called "Evil fast" by guys that drove them in anger for a living..... at 400 HP. ....and I am going to do What that these Pro's couldnt/wouldnt do? If I ever live long enough to finish these cars, they will be putting me in the drivers seat with a crane of sorts.

I got my ass handed to me by a baby blue weed wacker..... if that doesnt pound the ego out of ya... nothing will!

Bruce will be pround when he returns with a new computer next week. A perfectly good thread, totally screwed up, with minimal help from him.... I expect a gold star on my report card this time.

I've so been there dave.....that motor came out of a fibreglass chevy pro-mod with hilbourne injection. I took that crappy cobra replica to the strip and the best it ran was a 13, mostly sideways. Absolutely awefull thing. Oh well...we live and learn,eh?
Oh, and i think we both deserve a gold star for screwing this thread up.....

I can only hope she doesnt read this and have flash backs! By that time I was driving High Cotton and had evolved to walking upright........ with a TR4 and crank up windows but I still carried the hand crank in the trunk!

I swore I would NEVER again have a car with side curtains and a hand crank.... and now the TR3 sits next to the Jeep Wrangler (with side curtains) in the garage with a Ferguson tractor, yes, with the hand crank, outside... go figure!

How did I miss this thread?
It's a simple bladder control decision.
Leak down is when your long stint is on a cloth and foam rubber padded seat.
Compression is when your long stint is on fiberglass.

    A big +1! Don't be sorry.
