430 Leak off the passenger side? Potentially fuel?...

    I took my daughter's friend on a bit of a spirited ride. Short loop with a few straights, where I let the revs run up a bit, some twisties, and a bit of semi-hard braking. Still all reasonably mild. I also made sure the engine and oil was up to temp before pushing the car a bit.

    I pulled in, let the car sit a bit before pulling in the garage. I noticed a little streak of fluid.

    I smelled it and touched it and it smells like gas, but has an oil feel to it.

    I'd be looking just to check the top of the fuel pumps and also the f1 fluid in the right rear fender

    Hey Dominick, I was actually gonna text you, but didnt want to bug you on a Sat night.

    There is not enough fluid to sponge up. I tried and it's already evaporated or sucked into the concrete

    By the way. The fluid that sprayed off the tire, is the front passenger side

    That thing is your F1 reservoir. If that’s where the leak is coming from, it’s probably overfilled. With the aggressive driving the fluid got hot and overflowed a little. It’s an easy fix, just lower the fluid. There’s a procedure that’s been previously posted.

    Flash can fill you in further.

    This leaking is WAY better than your fuel pump leaking. Confirm that your fuel isn’t leaking by checking the top of the pump under the right side cover in the engine compartment.
