Hi there, I had my calipers rebuilt by PMB Performance and they look great / work great. Unfortunately I'm having an issue where both of my front caliper bleed screws are seeping a tiny bit of brake fluid. I have tried tightening them down as much as I dare but still the leaks persist. I have a call into PMB for advice but thought I'd ask here. The bleeder screws are new, the calipers are OEM and have been rebuilt. A few options come to mind: 1. Loosen and tighten the bleed screws about 10 times to 'set' the new bleeders to the existing caliper. 2. remove the calipers and using valve lapping compound with a wooden dowel (shaped to appropriate angle) gently resurface the sealing seat in the caliper. 3. see if I can find my original bleed screws and reinstall those... 4. install SECO seals (anybody happen to know what size / material?) I can't comment unfortunately on the Ferrari calipers. I had mine done by PMB and all was good. But I have had issues with StopTech calipers leaking, it was a manufacturer defect. Did they leak before you sent them off? If not something must have happened there.
They didn't leak before restoration but that was with the old bleeder screws - the rebuilt calipers came with new bleeder screws which I installed (and are leaking). I suspect the bleeder screw seats (in the calipers) are somewhat worn and the original bleeder screws had a similar wear pattern from 40 years of use. I think my next step will be to see if I can find my original bleeder screws (I tried to save everything) and see if those look worn at all - if yes try to reinstall those originals. Also pretty tempted to get SECO seals but not sure what size. Always something... Thanks! Mike

I had the exact same issue on my 328 rear calipers. Rebuilt the calipers and after, the bleeder valves leaked at the threads. I cranked down on them with no luck. Even after replacing with new valves they still very slightly leaked. I did not want to replace the calipers. I ended up using Fluoramics LOX-8 Green Full Density Thread Seal Tape. I only wrapped outermost threads, leaving the first 2-3 threads unwrapped, for fear of any tape tearing off inside of the calipers. About 2 years later and many HARD braking sessions with super hot brakes, and still no leaks. I know I'll get a lot of flack, but look it up. The stuff is practically indestructible. Working for me.
