    Hi!
Anyone else having problem with leaking connection between the manifold and the Y to the valve?
I´m not able to get it sealed and the pipe seem to short so the gasket end up half outside the pipe.
I´m thinking of extending the pipe by welding, so the gasket gets a better grip.

Have anyone had the same problem?

    Grateful for all assist.

I might have some ideas for you......but allow me to ask:

How do you know there is a leak....one side or both? How long has this been occurring? Have you tried repairing it previously.....? Did the leak or leaks start again?

I can hear and feel the leak, it´s on the left side in the connection. It was leaking when I
first mounted it, and I then remounted it with some exaustpaste and it was OK but after a
couple of days and 200 km the leak is back!
I´m now going to the garage to dismantle it again, then i´m thinking extend the pipe and also welding a ring on the connector for a certain sealing.

If you any idea it´s welcome!

When I installed the Fabspeed headers to my hyperflows and Capristo...the Fabspeed guys sent me new steel washers (4) and a new type of collar that works like a plumbing compression fit. They have worked really well so far.

The problem you are having is that the header tube will not go far enough into the either the 2 cats or the 2 inlets of the muffler. You really have to push it all together and then tighten them quickly. I had to do this several times to get everything right. I loosened the muffler (Capristo) on the brackets so that I could push the pipes forward more, then went back and tightened the muffler brackets. Even a 1/4 or 1/2 of an inch is critical.

Let me know how it goes and good luck.
