I have developed a petrol leak from around the fuel sender on my 71 euro which means its on the top of the drivers side tank
(RHD because it was a Brit car) i should be able to get it out with out to much trouble HA HA HA but my two questions are
    1. Has anybody pulled a sender like this with out tank removal ?
    B. Is the gasket pictured also used on anything else ie Fiats ect if so what and a part number would be good ?
Any help or just Sympathy glady received

It is a Fiat part. I think Dennis McCann has them. Check his site.

I'd suggest trying reputable retailers as Ricambi, Rutlands, DinoParts.de, and Superformance - in that order

I've pulled the sender without removing the tank from my Euro 246 GTS which has the sending unit mounted on the passenger's side fuel tank. Remove the six cap screws and pull the assembly up at an angle.
POINT #1: not all Dinos have the sender on the same side tank - many have it on the Driver's side fuel tank

POINT #2: Orientation is critical. Be careful when re-installing so that the sending unit goes back into the tank at the exact same mounting holes.
I inherited this problem from a Previous Owner (PO) who had rotated my sending unit clockwise by one screw hole. The float at the end of the arm would hit the tank wall preventing any lower readings and the dash gauge would be pegged at half a tank for the last half tank.
