While performing the belt change on my 02 360 the tech discovered that my steering rack was leaking down the left side. He showed me this at shop and so far its just seaping a bit, but I can't help thinking about it every time I jump on the brakes and turn in quickly. I've done a search ,but still have a few questions.

    Is this failure common?

What's a good source for an OEM replacement?

Any idea how many hours should be associated with this repair?

    Thanks in advance.

I recently had the rack on my 550 repaired by Atlantic Enterprises for $280. Ring them and check they can do a 360 rack too.

New price would have been $4500 plus fitting.
DIY removal about 4 hours, replacement the same. Not difficult just time consuming.
You also need to realign the steering toe in after replacing.
