I have been looking at Learjet 45's to replace our Citation III but now Im tempted into getting a 60 instead, the cabin is much bigger as well as the extra range and from what I have gathered the operating cost is not much higher anybody have experience with a 60?

I operate out of a 7,500 ft elevation with a 12,000 ft runway, so hot and high performance is critical.

    Thanks

A 60 would probably be okay for that. Probably better than the Citation, I would guess.

However, if it were me, I would get a Falcon 50 with Proline 21. I don't think it will cost any more to buy, the operating cost will be a bit more, but you will be much better off in terms of both range and runway performance.
