geez, nice. when i've taken someone out for some L's practice there's sometimes some bunch of cockheads that do idiotic stuff for the sake of it, thinkin they're funny. imagine taking an Fcar with L's through the wrong burbs...
I can imagine the parent/car owner sternly saying "don't ride the clutch", like on that advertisement that the TAC ran a few years ago.
hehe, nice nice, and i thought i was luck to learn/still leaning in a new SS, my dad still gives me an ear full about loosing traction and "over reving the car" Where did the photo come from? did you take it?
The photo was taken at nagambie, its in the middle of victoria somewhere.. for head of the river.. all the wealthy private schools in victoria take part.. i have seen this car around before in melbourne, when i played hockey at some new rich expensive synthetic surface, i think someone from wesly college in melbourne owns it.. yeah and i thought occasionally driving a hotted up VY ss ute on P's was pretty good.. i have the high res if anyone wants it.. but a little overkill letting a Learner drive an Fcar.. i reckon they did it so people would take notice.. the trip from melbourne to ngambie lakes takes about 3 - 4 hours.. is the F355 a comfortable cruiser?
Haha.....beats the car I drove with my L-plates. I would appreciate the high-res version of it - just host it on www.imageshack.us and post the 'direct link' to it here. Thanks.
consider it done http://img322.imageshack.us/img322/6889/img20119qp.jpg hope it works, pretty nice car to learn on i reckon...
L plates are the first and last opportunity for a driver to legally, from an insurance and licensing perspective, drive a high performance vehicle, until off P plates (3yrs). Even after that the insurance companies don't want to know about under 25's.
I think that F355 in grey looks absolutely fantastic, especially with the burgundy interior. Great colour combo in my opinion.
It is a pretty neat colour combo.. as for insurance nightmares involving p platers in highpowerd cars, today i saw a P plater, he looked no older then 22, driving a Guards Red 993 Porsche turbo (simmilar to the one in the photo).. Some people get it lucky i guess?? Image Unavailable, Please Login
I think it's wonderful if you have some nice cars in the garage and you can share that passion with your children. If, in the future, I have children, I'd take immense pleasure from seeing them driving/enjoying any exotics that I'd hopefully own. As long as they drive safely (I'd insist that they took advanced driver training etc), I think it would be absolutely awesome to share the passion.
Hey Jimbo, better learn how to change into second. Nagambie is 123 kms from Melbourne. Unless of course you're taking taking the scenic route to have some fun the car (at perfectly legal speeds of course)
