Leather bound build, picture book.

I have the same book with 5 pic of the build and dates it was done. I have a suspicion though that the pics are the same in EVERY one's book(color depending) . I have seen others and they are the same pics so, I am pretty sure it's a farce but cool nevertheless.

 

I am not disagreeing with you but it seems silly to have a good idea such as this and even produce a nice book only to use the same pics for each car/colour type. I dont know if there is much in there other than the pics but its a bit pointless if its not your car in the photos.

 

I agree. I believe the last pic of the finished car is individual to each car but the engine build pic and chassis pics are the same for all.... my speculation only. I will take pics of mine and post them and see if others do the same and we can uncover the truth. I saw one of a spider and the engine pic was the same as mine with the same guy standing in the background so......

 

Perhaps the chap in the photo just stands there a lot?

 

From looking at my "book" it seems that they got the color right in more than a few of the pics, so I suspect not all of them are the same pics.

A late friend of mine, RIP, received his book for his F430 a couple of years ago. The car pictured in the book he received was exactly as he ordered it: red, shields, red calipers, etc. When he took delivery of the car, the calipers were black. So while it seems like Ferrari is taking pictures of your car, they may not always be the case.
