I love the Leatherique mentioned earlier. I’ve tried a few of the other brands and this stuff is on another level. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Great point about the matte.... I this on the black leather of my f430 spider. I just rub it in let it sit and that’s it. No need to even wipe it off. Dries matte and the leather looks soft and heathy Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
I tried sonax based off your post on my 488. I ssprayed it on my cloth. Wiped the seat down. Waited a few mins before wiping it off and now the seats have a shine to them. How can i fix this???
Thats why I will not put anything on my leather . Having a shine will put me off the car immediately. That shine reminds me of the good old days of amour all. Just cheapened the whole interior
I use a 90% IPA, 5% water, 5% clear hand soap mix to spot clean as needed, and a lightly damp rag to go over the rest of the interior every now and then Nothing more is really needed
GYEON has fantastic products cleaners and sealers for leather. Swisvax also great and have products that bring back the matte look… works really well. I had a previous Ferrari detailed and the leather looked like new. They also have dyes and the guys air brushed and dyed my bolster and sealed it. Looked fantastic. Here is a pick of the repair it was scuffed and grey from use before. Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
I second the Gyeon option for leather protection. Granted Im not spilling frapachinos in my Ferrari but Ive been doing the Gyeon coatings on all my cars the last couple of years and they protect very well and leave no shine whatsoever. I did my wife’s 2022 X5 this year (along with my 911TTS, Taycan Turbo S, and Shelby Baja I got this year) and even the kids and the dog can’t seem to stain the light beige leather. Just a little griot cleaner and the car looks new…
