I have read the posts about restoring and redying the leather seats and restoring the body paint. I was wondering what most people use to clean their leather interior, I wash my 85 QV every other weekend no matter how much I drive it. There are alot of products at the auto parts store that say are good cleaner and conditioner. I would like to condition the leather as well as clean with out damaging the dyed finish. I would also like to ask what brand and type of wax is good for the factory paint.

Lexol was recommended to me by my leather restoration shop.

If it says "leather cleaner", it will be fine. I happen to use Griot's Interior Cleaner and then follow with its Leather Care product. I've used Lexol in the past. It's all good. I only changed to Griot's because the products were the same cost and the company is local.

I've been using Lexol cleaner and their conditioner for 2 years now. I have to be careful because it does remove a bit of the red coloring on my seats. I see it on my rag but haven't noticed a difference in color on my seats. An upholsterer whom I trust in my area suggested Turtle Wax Super Protectant which works very well for the final touch.

I suggest doing a search on "Leatherique". It rates highly, and has worked well for me.

I've been using Zaino cleaner and conditioner for years with great results.

Leatherique has a cleaner, I have not used it but the Dynamix cleaner works every well but it takes two week to ship to the US. The Leatheriue leather rejuvenator works great and will soften the leather and stop it from shrinking. There is always the question about what any of this stuff does over time. It looks good now but after a year later will it cause damage?
