In preparation for a car show this Summer I'm trying to make sure I have everything that originally came with my '86 Mondial 3.2 cab. I'm pretty sure I have everything - except I keep hearing about a leather manual cover or pouch and a "Mondial Key Fob". Did every Mondial come with its manual in a leather pouch/case/cover - whatever you call it? Some folks on E-Bay seem to claim they did, while other sources seem to suggest that wasn't the case until maybe the 355. Also, did Mondials actually come with a leather backed cloisonné badge keyfob? Any Mondial owner expertise would be greatly appreciated.

The leather pouches are on Ebay ALL the time. I bought one for my 328, although it's
not technically correct. Great quality, solid leather, tan in color, with the Cavallino
logo. Not right for a 328 (should be black vinyl, but are HARD to find). I paid $115, which
is probably a rip-off (surely made in China), but I wanted one so bought it. My Italian
F-wrench Carlo says my case is for a newer Testarossa, 348, or Mondial, so it's probably
    correct for your car.

Don't know about the keyfob - I've heard every story you can imagine about what was
original (on my 328, not a Mondial) - so perhaps others can help there.

Yes, all MOndials came with a pouch, the cloth ones were produced until 1988 (not sure). I know those cloth pouches are very expensive, I sold mine a while back for $1K, but it was mint. The later Mondials had the Schedoni tan leather pouches, worth around $350 a piece. Not sure about the keychains, however.

Thanks for the info. Are the cloth pouches that came with the Mondials up until 1988 the same as the ones pictured below? (Both on E-Bay right now for 308 period cars.)

The pouch shown in the previous post is the same as the one that came with my '83 Mondial coupe.
