    Hi,

Has anyone had their leather separate on their dash behind the tacho like this photo?
It had released from the actual dash and isn’t reaching across to meet the other side.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Leather issues like this are very common as the cars age or sit in the sun. A good upholsterer can restretch it but the dash has to be removed.

I've never done it myself. There are some videos on Youtube showing models other than a 488 being dismantled. Doesn't look all that bad, just very time consuming if you don't know what you're doing. Easy to crack the windshield if you tug too hard on the clips. Windshields are about $6k. Call a Ferrari dealer near you for suggested upholsters. I can say this, Ferrari leather absolutely hates UV rays and heat.

Where do you live? The guy that did mine is in the SFV in CA. I’ve referred five guys with leather dash issues to him.

Mine pulled loose from the vents popping.

I used a guy in Sacramento area. I just removed the pieces and mailed them in. Call Russ at Ferrparts and they can help.
