I finally installed all of my LEDs in the rear and they look great. The only difference I noticed was that the reverse light (white) was definitely not as bright, but it was alot whiter than the original. I did one side at a time and could see the 'old' versus 'new' lights at the same time. I highly recommend the LED tail light conversion. You may have to switch the wires around on some of the bulb connectors (easy, they just pull off) so it should only take you about an hour to do the conversion. The 24 LED bulbs WIDE angle were definitely the ones to go with. 30 are physically too large and 18s weren't bright enough. My next project is the dash. I have all of the bulbs on order. It will definitely be more difficult since getting the polarity correct before reinstalling everything will be a challenge. More as it develops. JD
Just needed to clarify: will the fronts also use 1156 type LED for the parking lights and turn signal in White and amber?? Giving in to temptation!
Just an update: check out this brief video clip of Ferrari 348 LED brake lights (the 7 lights in the high-mounted center 3rd brake) versus the two lower, old-style OEM bulb brake lights. Note the difference in timing...that there is a significant delay between when you first press on the brake pedal until the older two brake light bulbs light up, compared to the center high-mounted 3rd LED brake lights shining instantly.
