Can anyone recommend an LED retrofit for an H3 bulb that doesn't suck? Specifically I'm interested in finding one that produces an acceptable beam pattern in the fog lights of my Mondial 3.2 (exact same reflector and similar lens to 328 and TR, IIRC). It would also be nice if it produces as much (or slightly more) actual light output as a 55 W halogen H3 (1500+ lumens) and produces a hue that isn't obnoxiously bluish (ideal color temp would be like 3500-5500 K). Thanks, Joe
You might wanna look into the NINEO brand on Amazon. I run their fanless H4 bulbs on my truck and they are absolutely outstanding when using glass lens housings. I don't have any experience with H3 bulbs, however. Ray
I think I saw those—they do offer an H3, but they're only claiming 800 lumens and, just eyeballing the dimensions, it looks like the LEDs are in the wrong place (almost like they took their H1 product and just changed the mounting flange to offer an H3).
