I have a 2017 California T. Came with an LED steering wheel. Nothing in the owners manual for this kind of steering wheel. Does anyone have the instructions on how to use or option this kind of SW. If so, I would be very grateful if you could share. Thank You Dave T

What question are you asking? The LEDs light up as the RPM increases, I think you have be above 5000 RPM for them to even start lighting up. They do flash during the key on/startup process so that you know they are working. If you are just cruising around in auto mode, you'll probably never see them light up because the transmission is programmed to head for the highest gear and lowest RPM it can justify.

I hope that helps, if not, can you clarify?

That helps, thanks. I wasn't sure if they were triggered by Sports or ESC mode, I did not expect them in Auto. So far I have just been cruising, tomorrow they will get a workout... Thanks again.. DT

Put it I. Manual mode as you get close to the redline they will light up . It’s a lovley wheel with the carbon and the lights and definitely a must have option I wouldn’t have a Ferrari without the led carbon wheel

In my seat position, the steering wheel top is in the way and I can't see the top of the tach (just when you need it most), so the LED's are super helpful when winding up.

You can buy nicer colors for these steeringwheels at @McCarbon ... very attractive like in the Formula one.

For the Portofino M: seven red, two blue. Starting at 5500 rpm, then every 225 rpm: 5500 / 5750 / 5950 / 6175 / 6400 / 6625 / 6850 / 7075 / 7300. (I only found this information in the summary owner's manual in the infotainment center of the car, not the printed manual), Guessing the Roma is similar.

    The 458 is much easier to understand. Five red lights: 5500 / 6250 / 7000 / 7750 / 8920.

There is (for some reason) an option to disable the LEDs. Every now and then someone finds their lights have been disabled. My PFM lights up on startup, my 458 does not.
