355 LED tail lights using OEM housing

Would love to see how this looks.

 

What does the LED light bulb look like? I’m assuming you’re considering this route to avoid cracks in the future?

With tailights you can buy just the housing?

 

I have a question. I want my outer tailight to look eurospec. Do I just use an orange light bulb in the center or is there more to it?

Actually, I believe the center is an orange inner housing. Will require more than just a light bulb.

 

Your euro setup Scuding will most likely be a different setup than for our U.S spec lights. Our cars light up differently.

 

Stick to the OE look in my opinion.

Objective is to reduce the heat so they don't crack and deform again...LED's should be brighter and give it a bit of a freshened up look anyway.

 

I went with 4 stop and 4 outer parking and love it. Will take pics this weekend to update my other thread. My logic being I want people to see me when I’m driving in the fog of the Bay Area and 4 rear lights is better than 2 for visibility. Either way can’t go wrong. Excellent product from Scud Ing Swiss.

Guys post some pics of these tail lights you have all modded, seems many have done some sort of mod

 

I did front directionals 3rd braklight and rear tail lights. Had all a4 illuminated in Parking and braking. Plugs right into harness with super high quality parts. You won't believe how bright and red these lights are. Emergency vehicle bright. The backup lights are very very bright.
3rd braklight is programable. Look up my old post in archives. I had pictures.
You will not regret the upgrade. The stock orange looking incandescent blubs are a joke. This makes the car looks like a modern car.

 

Tried to take photos this morning of the lights but the results are horrible and not worth posting. In real life the Scud Ing Swiss product is awesome. Fully and evenly illuminates the red lights, and the parking light brightness is much brighter than stock. With the brakes on, there is no way no one is going to see you. A great upgrade and would recommend without hesitation.

Not a great picutre and does not capture the bright red that the lights are but shows how intense the light is. Even brighter under braking. I sold the car 2 years ago not able to get another picture Image Unavailable, Please Login

 

Do they still have the tail lights for sale couldn’t find them on the website
