A month ago a notice the operating temp of my Mondial was slightly higher than 1/2 according to the temp gauge when stuck in traffic . Turns out one of the radiator fan is not working . Called my tech and he discovered that one of the fuse connectors melted . He told me to order this fuse connectors so he can fix it properly . Good thing RedBay ( Stefan ) sells them . Ordered them upon arrival I called my tech . Installation was straight forward except for difficulty in locking them in place . My tech using a small Dremmel tool trimmed some parts of the locking parts of the new connector and then they locked in place . Road tested the Mondial , got stuck in traffic the temp stayed just before the half indicator of the temp gauge w/ the AC on and w/ the hot humid weather .

The problem is not the white connector, it's the female connectors that fit into it, their contact area is not wide enough. It's only about 1/8 of an inch, and they don't have enough spring tension, clamping pressure, to hold tightly. When mine showed these symptoms I replaced them with 3/16" gold-plated females. If you don't do something about the connections underneath, this will happen again, it happens on the fuel pump and condenser fan circuits as well. I also have a GT parts replacement circuit board, which helps, but the connectors are simply too small for the load they carry, especially if they get a little dirty. Little dirty. Also spray everything with deoxit!

Yes, the relays are color coded on the drawing that way. Thanks to user Afterburner for the excellent color electrical drawings!
