What is the exhaust noise level in dB of the F430 and F430 Scuderia? Have an exhaust ticket to fight.

    1) Noise is a very difficult to measure
    2) dB ( means a 1/10 o bell)
    3) dB alone don’t say nothing is need to say dBp ( pressure )
    4) dBp ( means a decibel off sound pressure) need reference
    5) the reference is (humidity expressed in %) (temperature and barometric pressure 1035 mB)
    6) these mean if the device ( somometer or decibel meter) is not calibrated the measure is invalid
    7) the device need a proof o calibration (less a one year old)
    8) the curve ( need to stay in C) if the ensure is A curve is invalid
    9) and proof the calibration is not only for a level need to include a frequency chart minimum 20 to 20,000 htz ( reason , the level depend off the frequency in these son- meters to much)
    10) The sample is taken a how many meter or foots from the car and how many rpms?
    11) The police is behind the sonometer?( and support whit his hand the sonometer) If is the sample is invalid ( his body reflects the sound waves) at frequencies 150 to 3,000 htz and add a list +3 dB
    12) And so on……
    13) The maximum level approved (AES)( 2001) audio engineers sociality is 85 dBp reference at 25 Celsius 55% humidity and 1,035 mB pressure for a car at 2 meters ( not 1) in the middle at idle

    sorry for my english.....

Yep, its 106dB.. If the Scuderia is sold from dealers with the 106db exhaust, they really can't give you a ticket for it, as it's legal.. ?? right??

Not necessarily, I would have thought that manufacturers would have to meet whatever noise limit the authorities in question imposed, wouldn't they?
