A good buddy of mine who is the entertainment business in LA wanted a Quattroporte. He asked my opinion and I said you can pic up an 05 with 2-3k miles for $25k off sticker. So he went to a dealer in California and asked around finally one of the dealers said they had the owners demo to sell. Black/tan with 3900 Miles an 06' sticker was $123,000 he paid $101,000. Here is where the problem arose. when he got the car home he found inside the owners manual a service receipt for a new transmission under warranty with 3600 miles. since this is considered a new car never registered is the dealer obligated to tell the purchaser prior to selling?

I think as long as it it less then 10% of the car's value they are not obligated by law to disclose, but they sure are "obligated" if they want happy clients. (I may be wrong on this, it came up once in a conversation with a salesman regarding a Porsche, I did not verify it.)
