I posted this in the Northern CA section just because it was a local event. But I wanted to share pics from the Legend of the Motorcycle show with all other motorcycle enthusiasts who don't visit the Northern CA section.

It was a great show. Featured marques were MV Agusta and Norton.

MV Agusta racer, and most winningest rider in GP history, Giacomo Agostini was there to sign autographs. Also, Alain de Cadenet was the Master of Ceremonies.

    Chief Judge - Ed Gilbertson
Honorary Judges - Phil Read, Malcolm Smith, Mark Wilsmore (Ace Cafe)
Industry Judges - Erik Buell (Buell), Claudio Castiglioni (MV Agusta), Matt Chambers (Confederate), Michael Lock (Ducati), Tom Purves (BMW)

This show is only 3 years old and is growing! Beautiful bikes, invitation only for entrants, large crowd (there were probably over 500 bikes that rode to the event, it was a show outside the show), and an amazing setting on the 18th hole of the Ritz-Carlton in Half Moon Bay, California.

My friend Harland Hadley was one of the judges and said today that it was a great show. I understand that the folks at the Ritz Carlton were a PITA and that the show will be at another location next year.

Check out this show if you are in FL this May.

It is at the world Golf Village in St Augustine FL May 17th.

I was the former chair of the motorcycle dvision of The Radnor Hunt Concours. We have had some great bikes at Radnor but there may be no more motorcycles at Radnor. Bike shows are starting to be as good as Pebble or Amelia Island finaly

Your BMW won the Men's Vogue Award last year, right? I remember you posting about this show but at the time it was too late for me to make it, not to mention ou '67 T120TT Special wasn't finished.

We saw another 1967 T120TT Special (although it was Aubergine & Gold) that was there. His bike had several mistakes in the accuracy in it. But nonetheless, it still looked very nice.

The MVs were stunning. I always dig those BMWs as well...probably the only era BMW motorcycles I enjoy.
