    guys-

i would like to gauge interest and get some feedback on building a road course country club. a group of us (here in atl) have been kicking this idea around for some time and given the success of the autobahn country club and some other clubs under development, we thought we'd give it a shot.

we're looking to be within an hour of ATL. please email me if you'd like to be put on our informational announcement list.

anyone would be welcome to come aboard and help or give input.

    thx

    henry

I've heard this at least a couple of times from 2 different "entrepenuers" the last 5 years. Nothing (to my knowledge) ever became of those efforts, and the last one was a serious as one could get. Rumors early last year was that land was bought and zoning approved up the GA400 somewhere. Haven't heard a peep the las 18 months.

I remember a previous post about a neighborhood with a track build into the center of the neighborhood. Each house was suppose to have a lift. Each home owner received so many hours of track time. I thought it was a great idea. I would enjoy living there.

It's a great concept. The big auto-country-clubs seem to already be sold out of memberships (perhaps they limit the number of members to avoid overcrowding the tracks).

I mean, you can live in a cookie-cutter subdivision with nothing to do, or you can live on a race track with auctions, car shows, and races going on 365 days per year.

Then again, most people **insist** upon leading boring lives.
