    Just curious if anyone here is aware of all the excitement going on with Leica these days. A very big announcement is scheduled on 9-9-09. Several new products to be presented...I am hoping for a full frame M9.

    I read about their big announcement on DPREVIEW.COM . Looks very interesting, I'll be sure to keep an eye out!

    Excitement, ???? What excitement. A brand new Leica rangefinder, full frame, 18.5 megapixels, ( it's a Kodak CCCD sensor with Leica in-house designed software ) which looks just like an M7 only a couple of millimeters larger in a couple of dimensions, at approx. $ US $7,750.00, and uses all the indescribably good M-series lenses.......what is there to get excited about.

    There will be a live webcast 9am EST tomorrow, Weds 9-9-09 by Leica---I plan to watch.
