Does anyone know how to find out why a 07 F430 has a Lemon Law on the CarFax. I have automotive repair businesses. We do 95% of the repairs. It was taged at 11k Lemon.

Lemon laws in the United States vary by state, and generally have to do with failures or multiple failures of the same thing and amount of time in for said repairs in a given amount of time. Usually a lawyer is needed since manufacturers and dealers don’t want to have a lemon car bought back, though it is the manufacturer that is required to purchase the vehicle not the dealer.

That being said any lemon car can be repaired, but the catch is actually finding the underlying issue which is usually time consuming and tedious. Most of the time it’s related to a bad wireing harness, or connection but can be a severe assembly defect.

Would be interesting to see what the problem was that caused this car to be deemed a lemon.
