Ahhh, such memories that brings back. My son was viewing the video with me and remembered that when he was riding with me that he hit his head really hard against the back of the seat (with very little padding) when I accelerated up like Jay did. Way back in the archives is the story of my three days with the car. I remember it like it was yesterday............... Click on my profile and you will see the car I drove. Sigh, and I had to give it back.....parting is such sweet sorrow.......
I am envious of myself. I just wish I had had more time in it........sigh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Jay is really cool about his cars. It is like he wants to let others enjoy them vicariouly and he will take the monetary hit on purchasing them. He sure is - he insisted multiple times after I kept declining to climb into his F1. I'm 6' 5" and while a contortionist act, I fit comfortably. He was very, very cool.
Wasnt his F1 but I bumped into him around midnight at a newstand and he pulled up behind my 355 in his SLR. I was admiring the car and he graciously told me to hop in ! Ive never heard a negative thing about him.. real down to earth guy.
Anunakki and Jet-X, You guys are so luckey I watch him every night and rarely miss a night. I think it would be awesome to meet him he seems like an extremly cool guy and I really hope i get to.
leno is coming to my town in a few weeks for a speech, and i am trying to get tix to go see him. the guy is a true car guy, and not to mention my favorite tonight show host
