Pleanty of rain last night and all day today. Northern NJ weather is going to be low 50s for the next week and a half on certain days. Maybe this weekend it will be good enough for a drive since a lot of the salt will me washed away.

yesterday was nice too. Nice clean roads. Ran out for gas & then lunch with the top down. Perhaps a little too chilly for that, but what the hay.
and some warmer weather next week too. Spring is a-comin'

It appears short-lived. A nice snowfall is impending tomorrow.

The salt is gone, but the amount of debris being kicked up by cars, trucks and SUVs is dangerous and the potholes on LI are a nightmare. However, I'm still looking to get out this week for a blast.

Watch what the pot holes bring! I was always well aware of those, yet a few years ago despite best efforts to avoid hitting them and to never tailgate esp on spring NY roads I caught a racquet-ball size chunk of asphalt kicked up by a pickup truck a hundred feet ahead in the next lane on/around the BMP near Seven Lakes. Bounced a time or two and caught three nose panels...

Ouch. Just wondering if a thick clear bra would have made a difference in this case.
