well i will throw in my $0.02 . i believe that F-chat is an awsome awsome site and it will be very hard to duplicate or immitate and if it can be done it will take time. but on the other hand there are too many wanabees and trols that are ruining it for other f-chat members . i will never forget my friend with the four enzo's for sale! I think Brad has gone a step ahead and created a site just for his buddies and the EC crew and not so much to replace it with F-chat. we all love sharing our experiences and our passion and it is a shame that a few people are destroying the fun for everyone. Brad - I'm a little surprised at all of this, and frankly a bit disappointed. I'm surprised because you've questioned our support for you. We (EC collectively, and me, personally) have ALWAYS supported you in the past. Your artistic endeavors, the FerrariChat forum, the runs, the get-togethers - whatever! - has always been a something that the gang has always celebrated and encouraged. Recall this support has held strong even during periods when there has been tremendous controversy between you and various members of the FerrariChat community. Support stems from a sense of kinship with a person. Kinship, in turn, comes from sharing commonalities with an individual and liking them for who they are, and what they represent. Both are built over time. We've had a long history of supporting each other - yet that gets immediately questioned (and thrown out the door) because we didn't register?? You are very artistic, and produce an incredible amount of solid material. You'll agree that much of this is produced for kicks and self-pleasure. At times, it's hard (at least for me) to differentiate between what you're doing as simply a creative outlet, and what you find important and want us to show visible support for. I thought the side was great - we all did. But there was a lot of "sukka / nukka / let it all out / no holds barred" stuff going on. I don't participate in bashing here, nor did I want to on your site - even it was all in fun. For this reason I thought I'd be an observer till that died. If you wanted us to register on day one, all you had to do was ask. If you were hurt that we didn't, all you had to do was let us know. You didn't ask. You didn't let us know. Personally, I don't agree that the mere act of registering shows support. Somebody that registers, and only posts once or twice is no different IMO than somebody that continues to browse without registering. But if registering is what you wanted, I wish it would have been made clearer. Think of the flip side: I could have taken offense that I wasn't offered a Moderator position on your board. Or that I'm not a 7-skull Blood Member. But I don't. Why? Because (i) I know that is all in good fun, (ii) I know you HAVE supported me in the past, and (iii) I realize that you WILL support me when it matters most. I urge you to also think about the situation this way, rather than drawing hasty conclusions. I think our friendship deserves a little more respect than that. I am disappointed because your joke of getting us to register was in poor taste. I don't think I've changed my mind on that front, nor have others that I've spoken with. My view - as I elucidated earlier - is that friendships are made bit by bit and, whether we like it or not, are either validated or weakened based on specific incidents. Unfortunately, the accusations and mis-truths relating to this incident have worked towards detracting from our friendship. But we can always look towards the future. And I look forward to that. For now, though, ghost is staying outside the "inside." At least till the sour taste in my mouth goes away. I love you all. EC4LIFE.

ffwerff!!! Since we're all pouring our hearts out... Let me just say how much I love F chat too. Each and every one of you have always made me feel welcome, even when I thought I didnt belong. I may not roll an exotic ride or fit the playa persona, but the passion runs deep. I relish every EC event I get to. I grew up addicted to cars. As a 7 year old, I remember walking around the house with a '76 280Z brochure like it was my security blanket or favorite toy to me. As I matured, so did my tastes in fine cars. So here I am. That said, I hate to see the group divided by these issues. I too, have been fedup with the amount of BS bandwidth the NY forum has been experiencing lately. Some of you know Im dealing with some serious **** with my son, so time is always precious to me. I dont always have the luxury to browse multiple forums, but that dsnt mean I am against them. We have several talented people here with forums like KennyH's ExoticCarForums and Rob's Beyond the Quarter Mile along with Brad's InsideEC. I fully support them even though I dont visit them often. Lets not make that a measurement of "EC" status and acceptance. I was totally flattered when I saw that Brad had included me as a blood member even before I registered at his site, but I also dont think that Eric and Vik shld have to defend their positions in my eyes. I think Im starting to ramble. Bottom line... lets not get too carried away with who frequents whos forum. **** it... lets just go for a drive!!! {insert group hug here} Peace!

Bottom line(s): - I'd never engage in a joke that you or other EC Brothers were made the Butt(uz) of, but I'm glad you had some yuks at our expense. - Your characterizations of me joining "ec" are off-base, but it's not worth arguing over. In fact, I'm not even sure why it's brought up? - You completely misinterpreted my point on your artistry, but so be it. - Look back over the long-term and you'll find nothing but inclusiveness and support. - The site looked great, and I'm sure you'll have fun with it. - Lawyer? vik ur taking this too seriously. brad made a site, for certain ppl of fchat(the ones who met and did thing together, the so called EC), he even list the user names of EC ppl(ur name is in it). whats wrong with registering the site?? its not asking u to abandon fchat, its not asking u to participate often, and i do believe the ONE bashing thread(vs. keith round 3) was created after a day or two after some already registered, and please do not even tell me you dont think fchat has way more BS and bashing than brad's site. anyway, for those who know me, they know i hate to sugarcoat when i speak, so i will say exactly how i feel. the way i see it, you dont really want to associate with the "thugs of EC" on brad's forum, it prolly bring down ur image on the holly fchat, dats why u wanted to have nothing to do with it. now please note, i am just stating opinion frankly, there is no right or wrong to this issue. people choose what they want to do, simple as that. brad only simply made a pt that he thought the "EC hommies" will at least registered his site, and i think that is a 100% valid pt.
