    I'm happy to welcome a new member. Though, I don't know why the thread and info was deleted. I can understand someone wanting to stifle information concerning an accident, but I don't think it's the right thing to do. Especially if someone is pressuring you into it. One of the nice things about the 'net is that cars that have issues are finding it harder to hide. Not saying that is the case in this situation, but with the whole PM issue, it sure seems that way.

    Had nothing to do with anything other than she posted an email that was meant to be private. Emails are that, right?

    If she wants to re-post the other information, she's free to do so. I just did not think, and Matt agreed, that it was appropriate to post private correspondence here without his permission, so I deleted it. The rest of the thread were various and sundry personal insults and remarks that added nothing to the forum, so best to wipe the slate clean, PM the combatants and move along,

    Thanks for clearing it up... all the secrecy and deletion had me confused about an issue I'm far removed from. But, I just didn't want to think we'd further someone's goals to suppress info.

    On the whole "PM" private issue, maybe it should go to another thread, but if you send someone a message, pretty much it's theirs to do what they want with it. Sometimes I think bashing someone in private should get called out. (Not saying that's what happened here)

    Anyway glad to see all is well.............

    Well I have gotten several private messages so thank you to those who said hello. I am new here and would like to start off with saying that I wrote that message earlier this morning because I thought there was nothing wrong with it. Anyway I just wanted to tell everyone what I spotted and I can't believe that everyone got so mad about me saying that I saw a BMW wrecked. Cheez, not like the president was drunk and did a hit and run.

    Why is everyone so mad, when I had an accident all my friends knew and just wanted to make sure that I wasnt hurt, like my grandfather always told me as soon as I got my license, cars can be replaced people cant.

    Anyway, I am not a kid, I am an adult and have been driving for some time now.

    What is the New York Motor Club anyway, i thought that was AAA Auto Club, is that the same thing?

    Okay, well I just got home and saw all these messages and I will check in later.

    Matt asked her not to post the info she posted in her thread or the PM he sent her? It would be interesting if someone actually asked someone not to post a PM.

    It's nice that you call her Einstein too........ He probably wouldn't have gotten where he got in life if he listened or did what someone else told him to do.

    1st the Einstein comment was because she wrote ohhhh I don't know why people are mad at me, like an innocent 12 year old.

    2nd if he did not ask her then I understand, but to post it after someone asked you not too then it's Childish, immature, or just plain stupidity.

    Got to be honest Joe, I'm not seeing her as childish. I know much was deleted before I saw it. I'm just trying to get you to tone it down as I think the whole point of this thread was to give all involved a fresh start.

    A wreck simply means someone over drove their talent, IMO......

    Although a few times my Ferrari was HIT by others doing that...no reflection on MY talent.....LOL!

    So yea, we try not to "spot" wrecks........it can cause hurt feelings.......or worse.

    Fchat is a great place to find information and make new friends, but you will have to have thick skin around here - the boys seem to be itching to jump on you for little reason.
