    so jealous. i would drive out to NY for this, alas my car is due for open heart surgery in a few weeks. I will be F-less for a while.

    eeek, these roads are pretty bad. I'm all for driving it, but even if my car was registered and had a new clutch...I'm still not sure I'd make it. At least the roads in Bristol are like driving through a salt / gravel pit, while spraying salt water on the car from the melting snow.

    I've checked the roads around New Fairfield, Kent,New Milford. They are fine and will be better after today's rain.

    I lived in that area for years.

    Rte 7 N of New Milford to MASS is awesome BUT beware of speed traps.

    I used to shred those back roads in my 308

    1 day I met a guy who told me he was at an NM town hall meeting & the Cops were asking people if anyone knew the owner of a black 308 ;)
