Don't tell me! You're picking that up, are you? EDIT: Just checked your profile...and can I assume that congratulations are in order?
Congratulations! I noticed that you put the 308qv in your signature on another thread and lost the "unloved Ferrari fan" tag line.
You know Judge, you have put a collection together that I would love to have for myself. I would rather have anyone of your cars than a new model. Very well done sir.
Yeah i think it is a model too. I just thought it was god they made it seem as if it was real. It looks exactly like my dad's did when he was doen with it. They maybe the reason i was so attracted to it.
I haven't driven this one, but the other Fchatter in Shanghai has a Euro QV GTS which I have driven a bunch. Basically, the last issue of Forza hit the nail on the head, the 308 is the "sporty car" and the Mondial is the GT. Both of them are underpowered with little torque (sounds like a 360, no?). The QV has more kick, but duh, its got more power. There really isn't much overlap between the two, hence the purchase. This one is mainly going to be used for quick trips (under 2 hours), the Mondial for medium trips (2 to 4 hours) and the 365 for long distance touring (4 plus hours). Pick the right tool for the job.

Funny you should ask. Saturday, we had a local FCA breakfast gathering. I was in the car warming it up to go home when Techmogul asked me how fast it was compared to his last year 328. I said "Don't know" but quietly expecting his car to be a good bit faster.....I've driven it before after servicing it....strong, nice 328. "Let's go run" he asked.....so we did. The 328 could not pull me at all..... Needs a new fuel accumulator (took a dump that morning) which I now have, just need the time to install....... thanks for the compliment.....I like yours too. d
Glad to see this thread...A lot of love for the 308 1980 308 GTSi #31521 Image Unavailable, Please Login
