Cheers for that. Yes, I prefer left hand drive driving on the left (this is my second left-hooker). It's also a bonus as lefties are remarkably cheap in this country.

those wheels look GREAT on your black car. I've always liked the deep look versus the newer, flat type wheels....anymore pics?

I agree - great wheels! Could you tell us about them? I might want to pick up a set.

Guess since I'm asking questions in this thread I should contribute to it. Here's my '83 GTSi QV, acquired three months ago on a whim. Best unplanned irrational decision I ever made.

Thanks for the compliments. I just bought the car in the beginning of summer and have been enjoying it immensely. I'll have to get back to you on the details of the rims - it's about 30 degrees outside right now with snow/rain on the way. The rims came with the car in place of the originals - which was good as it's a Jan 83 production date which would've meant metrics. More pics....

That's a great shot. Looks like it's no garage queen!

targanero, those look to be Gotti wheels. Most had gold centers and look dated. Yours look great with the black centers.

John Harry, looks like someone updated your's with the newer 16" wheels. Good for you as the metrics aren't real popular.

Nice cars. 308s are just soooo beautiful.
