Hi Pat, Are the "finished car pictures" before or after the restoration you speak of? Your GTB is just stunning. What did she need? Cheers, Hank

Hi Hank, The problem was rust... every now and then, I see rust bubble. I can't stand it. So, the only way to get it right is to fully restore it and have it rustproof with modern solution and that's what she's being done... Cheers, Pat
I believe the laber cost in Thailand is less than the US. but I can assure you that the quality of their work is nothing less. For my Testarossa, a major service with all belts replace and engine pull out cost $2,000 parts and laber here at Ferrari Thailand. I understand it's so high in US for same job. There are a couple guys, British, ship their classic cars here to restore and ship back when finished. For this 308 fully restore cost me about $5,000. here some pics of their work on my Testarossa last year. http://www.xok.com/sundaymorningdrive/thumbnails.php?album=29&page=4
Hey Michael (impactco), With that little black lip on the spoiler, I recognized your car instantly. I still think it's a great touch. See you and your sweetie on 3/26 @ EURO SUNDAY? Cheers, Hank
John, I agree with you. Here are my HRE (288 replicas). I not a big fan of the black, but that's just a matter of taste. I'll be on Oahu on the 28th, maybe we can hook up. I know Alan still lives out there. Henry
Hey, Defnetly! give me a call! you can see the 355 also! yeah, the thing that really stink about my wheels is the constant need to polish them...
John, PM'd you. Look forward to seeing (and a 355?). Don't know where my pic went with my previous post, but you can see them on my car on the previous page.
To all 308 lovers... scary 308 went up in flame. This 308 carb car getting gas refilled then went up in flame.... very scary. What could be wrong...? anything we can do to prevent this... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=euRuYej2PIY&search=ferrari%20308
sure is interesting the diffs on some cars. Mine doesn't have the fender shields nor the rear spolier and my front vents are red.
patpong- you MUST replace the fuel filler hose, I believe that's what most here think was the cause of the fire. Cost is only a few dollars from NAPA for the hose. All other fuel vent hoses should be replaced as well as the hose between the 2 tanks. But the fuel filler hose is #1. (you can do a search for "fuel filler hose" and several threads come up with detailed photos and explanations on how to do it- takes about an hour for peace of mind when you fill up)

Thanks very much Robin, obviously it is my pride & joy. I am currently getting it ready as the weather is now taking a turn for the better. Taking it for the annual service tomorrow - itching to get behind the wheel...
It sure would be cool to see a RED 308 with the front bumper painted red as this silver one is painted silver. I think it just MAKES the car! Photoshop experts anyone? Image Unavailable, Please Login
