Nice sunny day in Surrey, went for what might be the last drive for a while.... Weather is starting to cool down so not long before the roads are covered in salt. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Pretty. I thought it was a late TB or GTB at first glance. Usually not a fan of altering the appearance of the cars but the overall effect of yours is great. Nice shot.
Thanks! The car was like that when I bought it 11 years ago. I've recently had it re painted and had the option to go factor but do like the way it looks. Although mines not factory I believe it's was an option for a colour coded roof. I think someone on here had a picture of an original order form and it stated "colour coded roof".
Shoot. Should have taken a picture of it on the lift at service today. Throw out bearing seems fine. Cam seals are weeping a bit 2 years after the major. Speed sensor will be replaced and oil hose checked. Hope that doesn't need replacing. Also lubing the shift cables and adjust the linkage. Clutch will need attention since it engages high. Down the road with the major possibly. Hope I can get it home tomorrow but may have to wait on the sensor till next week. Senior mechanic from the old country says the Maserati sensor is different. I will still make a fiberglass jacket with an aluminum tape shell for it. Figure out how to anchor it. Zip tie or hose clamp?
I took a good friends boys for a drive in the Ferrari last week. I purchased them a Ferrari cap each also, they loved my Ferrari and the drive. The older boy wanted to have a drive, but I told him when he is a little older. He is 10 years old lol. Hope you enjoy the pics as much I did taking them. Thanks man, it's extremely dirty in that pic but you can't really tell. She definitely was a beauty mate.
