Funny you mention that. My mates younger sisiter, went to the USA as an exchange student, 3 years ago(Grade 10). She went to Oaklahoma City. She was amazed at the amount of Americans, at school, at the shopping centres, basically anywhere, that asked her if its true that Australian school students ride Kangaroo's to school everyday. She thought that they were making fun of her, but couldnt beleive they said they were serious. She told them the truth.................yes, we do.
I'm glad you cleared that point up. By the way, the leather saddle which my nephew uses to ride his kangaroo to school is the same leather as used by Ferrari.
I went for a lap before with a mate. A beautiful sunny day here. I drove around for 20mins looking for some palm trees to take a pic with. Here they are. I havent driven the car in 12 days. Didn't know they had tropical palms like that in The Isa. And I hope you've subsequently washed the mud off those tyres.
Them trees were flown in from Miami Beach..... I took the shirt off my back and cleaned them tyres before i got back on the road.
Had my friend Paul in from Sydney over the weekend - we put his new (to him) Conda Green '70 911T in a container back to Oz, and during the visit we managed to run all of my cars as well. Sunday was great - Paul drove my 348 and I followed in the Benz. This was the first time I'd really gotten to hear the car and I think I smiled more following than I do driving...the Tubi/Hyperflow combo is absolutely brilliant. Love this car!!!! I washed the 348 and took a good friend of mine for a drive today that i promised him to take him for a lap when i 1st got my 348, 10 months ago. We had a great time. I took him through some quick twisty sections of road and he could not stop smiling. He was very impressed on how quick the car is and how fantastic the V8 sounds at full noise!!
