    Hey Gio,

Your t Valeo is beautiful! Did you just get her - and what's the SN #?
My Valeo is #93123 with 20K. Living in Los Angeles with manytimes overcrowded freeways, the Valeo feature is truly welcome. Where is "orange"? Is that O. C. in California - or where?

    Cheers, Hank

    Thanks Hank,

I had been look for this car for longer than I care to admit. I have been around F-cars since driving my first one at age 14. Yep-my best friend and I took out his dad's (Lusso) before we even had our drivers licenses'....and then it was onto a friend with a Dino for several years after that. I knew even then I would own one some day. Believe me 29 years after driving my first one is a long time to wait. Perhaps too long!

I have looked at many-but have yet to find one like this one....

I'm taking all of your suggestions (Driving and Smiling!)

    Gintoni, (Cheers)

    Hank,

It was delivered on June 22nd. I drove it for a week and then dropped it off for a minor tune-up, oil change, new rubber, and the state inspection (emissions). Orange, is for Orange, CT. Between New York and Boston. I have to put the Cats back on the car, the previous owner removed them, but the car will not pass the emissions testing without them (we tried). I love the Valeo, at first I was a little skeptical, but I know my wife would be able to handle it. I think it is an awsome system, it is too bad that the F1 system came out so soon after this system, otherwise it would be more sought after than it currently is. Maybe one day it will be.

    the serial number is 96235
    vin#ZFFRK33A6P0096235

I have not purchased the new rubber yet, any recomendations... It currently has the Perelli P-Zero's, I am thinking of just replacing them.

Have you had any problems with your "t"?

I had Pilot Sports (not the all season...) and they were great. I replaced with Bridgestone Pole Positions and have not been as happy with them. The Bridgestones grips as well in the dry but ultimately don't grips as well in the rain as the PSs.

    Hey,

Look into the Goodyear Eagle F1 - GS - D3 in our sizes (Fr. 205/55/16 & Rr. 225/55/16. The prices throughout the country are quite low compared to the USGP spoiler. The tiger stripe tread is stunning and the sidewall contour flows with the body like - - art. Check it out:)

Cheers & ain't it fun!!!, Hank

The sizes that I just posted are relative to stock rims. If we go to Speedline 17's, it's a whole new ball game.

the speedline 17 inch wheels as shown on the black 3.2 coupe are 7.5 and 8.5 inches wide. It likes either 215/50 - 17 or 225/50-17 for the front, and 245/45-17 is about perfect for the rear, although a 255 section would work as well.

A sponge bath, carpet clean-up and leather treatment later - - God, my back is killing me but, ain't it fun?

Please drive (any make of car) carefully, we don't want to lose you. We need you to go to car shows with us, eat pizza at Rick's (I havn't done that yet but I would like to), go to CC or wherever and, you know, just live. If you have the car or, if you have the girl, chill - you got it. On a residential street, 30 MPH will make more of a positive impression on our date than 100 MPH.

    Cheers. Hank

Interest item: Here is a photo of 18" wheels on a Euro t coupe for sale on German ebay; To me they just do not seem to fit the look well, and the painted lower and sail panels seem odd.
Just a data point of interest.

And I'm not a fan of thick crust Pizza (not that I think you are) but, I share your choices for wheels (we've batted this about before) in that Speedline 17's are hot - and the fact that body colored painted over factory black bottoms bother us. For me, I feel that it "thickens the body line - - as in, being "over weight". The painted sails don't evoke any immediate negative response. But, deviating from the approach to stock, if I had an 85, I'd paint the black bumpers body color. and that which is below, I'd paint black. It's been done before and I believe it was done for "flow". Works for me:)

    Cheers, Hank

    Hey all,

A friend of mine recently scooped a stunning 89 Mondial t Cab. (black/tan), and brought her (TIFFANY) over to meet Rachel. Here's a few shots of that. I'm sure he'll (Larry O - - real estate maven) introduce himself after returning from "THE BIG SHOW"

    Hank-

You have inspired me to name my Mondial........'Mariah'

While not exactly an Italian name, I think the meaning of the name is fitting.

(I know I still owe you a phone call.)
