    Hank,

I was just looking again at your posted photos of Tiffany and Rachael....

I couldn't help thinking if we get a few more of those same colored "girls" together, we could play a game of checkers. Ferrari style of course. LOL!

    Just don't "king" me.

    Hey all,

Should we try to put something llike "A MONDIAL MEET" together? You know, with a Mondial car show (with lots of wine), a nice dinner party and the next day to get "well":) I think it would be a fun thing to do. Let's bat it around, OK?

    Cheers, Hank

I'd come if I wasn't quite so far away. Idaho is a bit of a drive from Burbank. I made the trek to Las Vegas for the Scuderia Rampage this April, where I was one of two Mondials there. Some company would have been nice. Any chance some of you guys might show up next year?

I resized this for another thread, but I might as well put it here too. We're almost done on the mechanical restoration on it, just need to rebuild the rear brakes, put in a new ignition switch and new wheel centers and we're ready for new front seat leather.

Has anyone but me noticed that Mondials get prettier as the years go by, much like other understatedly elegant Ferraris? It seems to be a common Pininfarina magic.
Great picture of a beautiful Ferrari, Erik

I am still mystified by the low price of these great cars. I hope it stays that way until I move up to a 3.2.

    Yo Russ,

I believe I would turn on Speed channel to watch Monster Jam if that Mondial was a part of the show:) BTW, what's it use for power? My guess is a big blown rat motor.

    Cheers, Hank

It's French, but I can make out '6 liters' in the text. Perhaps it's what Nick's 4 liter 308 project ended up as... :)

And before anyone says anything, yes, I know the black sections need detailing. Same as the 308, same as the 365...

I think the black bumper look has aged well. Just need a QV cab to park next to the 8 now...

those are easily the best set of stock M8 photos I've ever seen. Very nice - better than the factory shots, imho.

The only thing I never liked about rosso corsa is it doesn't photograph well. The curves do get blended together. I was looking at some other pics that I have with the 365 in it, and the red sir ivor lets the details show up better, the rosso corsa just washes out.

I need to take some more pics during a partly overcast day, maybe that will help with the exposure.

BTW, the Nikon Coolpics stinks compared to a real SLR.
