Great pictures all... Very clean looking Russ. Where did those air cleaners come from? Did you make those? I hope mine looks as nice as these when I'm done.
Many thanks - I designed the airboxes made from aluminum to take advantage of the even pulsing on each bank like the 348, 355, 360, 430 which have separate plenums. The K&N's are where an enlarged side duct blows outside air on them from the starboard scoop. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thanks, I really like the engine on your Mondial with the Webers, I owned a Mondial QV for 16 years and I really liked it. The Weber must be a great upgrade I just put 3 45 DCOE's in my 4.2 E-type and it is a night and day difference.
Engine's look like they just left the factory. Very clean engine's. You all must love your rides like me

A BIT of tinkering, you say? I can only imagine what it would look like if you put a LOT of tinkering into it! VERY impressive work there!
Russ, Thanks for sharing. There's another thread on here (acutally a couple) about re-routing both air ducts "into the" air cleaners. But they usually just modifiy the existing (single) air cleaner. I like the way you've done yours better. I see that the filters on external to the unit, I wonder if it would be possible to swap one the other way 'round and fit the them "into" the air-ducts in some way. Of course, you'd then have to find a way to filter from within the cover. And it looks pretty tight in there. Hmmm..... Sure has me thinking though.
First pic is beginning of job. Last pic is current. The engine is super clean now. The engine bay still needs work. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
