The enzo pic is not one I posted, that place does look like a professional shop to me (with some amazing cars). The place with the Miura, diablo, Ferrari's, Mangusta, Maserati's etc is not a shop, it is just a warehouse space this guy keeps cars stored... many were under tarps that were peeled back just for these pics some were only covered with dust, some I haven't seen are under piles of stuff, some were more recent acquisitions, some have sat for a long time, guy has several other spaces like this apparently and I'm hoping he will show me more of them, and I know a couple he is willing to sell, but not interested in trying hard to sell them.. I plan on talking a couple off his hands :)

Sounds like he has a fair whack of money sitting there in his store, good on him.

perhaps you'll be able to track the serial number and someones attempt at a fixer-upper will come your way for a bargain, not to mention a new house to board it :)

Rik..thanks very much for the good wishes.

We postponed doing the house for nearly a year, and I recently bought a long-overdue diamond ring for my wife with a good chunk of the 330 insurance money remaining after the 308 purchase.

The house is now back on, so a fixer-upper is currently very low priority, unless something too good to be true falls in my lap.

Any more? That is one amazing collection. Not a lot of $$ would spruce up that garage and make it look the part!

Just because a garage looks dingy doesn't mean the cars aren't cared for or driven

    Exactly.
    Some panels are original, though...
I have an 'abandoned' nose cone of a 250 TR in my back yard. ;)

    That's a 275 GTB.

Here are some more pics back at the Hietbrink workshop.

Just curious but why do you have all those rare bodies lying around behind your shop?

It's not my shop. Pictures were taken at the workshop of well known Ferrari restorer Alwin Hietbrink ( www.hietbrink.com ). Most of the bodies you see are moulds, some were replacements panels and some are original parts.
