I'm looking to swap for bigger wheels partly due to availability of tyres, particularly the Michelin Pilot Super Sport. (the M5 boys swear by these and after trying them myself I'm converted).

Even in 18" there isn't a full range and the particular sizes I want are not available.

Up the size to 19" and there is a full range so I can get the ideal width and rolling radii.

However from what I read on here 19's look too big on the 348/F355 and are possibly too heavy, I'd just like to see some actual pictures of cars, with wheel/tyre specs if possible?

It doesn't look excessive, not sure about that rear wing though :/

The wheels I have in mind show a little less brakes as well as they look lost in there.

Those BBS LM's in the last pic look amazing, (assume BBS) would love to know the spec for that but will have to work it out my self I guess.

That looks to be a popular wheel choice for the 19's What do you think of the tyres?

congrats. saw that car on autotrader for a while. looked like a clean car.

what spec is that car? has turn signals on fenders.
I beleive that's usually on Euro spec cars.

those rims rims look nice on the car.
but there's something weird the way they fit in the rear wheel wells?

I have a newer Cadillac Escalade as a daily driver and my 348 rides so much better.
Tires are very soft and will wear quickly if driven a little hard but the ride and cornering performance is well worth the price.

Hey, thanks for your thoughts! Yes, it is a Euro car, started out life in Bahrain!!! The rear suspension was upgraded a while back, would have to look up what was installed! I'm just sorting a few things out, and enjoying the drive!

The one concern I would have about a 348 on 19"s in the UK is that the 348 is quite stiffly sprung, so on the UK's crappy roads it could become quite crashy on 19's due to the lack of tyre wall flex.

Just something to bear in mind! :)

    Lighten up you fools! :D

I was kidding. But I do find 19's on a 348 a bit much for my personal tastes, but have at it if it makes you happy. Also, the blingy thing is also a bit much for me, such as red paint and stancing the suspension. But they're your cars, do what u must, even if it spoils the handling/ride.

here is a photo of my 348 with 19" wheels that were installed by the previous owner.....seems to be a common aftermarket style for this car. However, I think the 18" starfish wheels from the 360 also look great on the 348

These are pretty decent looking and I agree with you on the 360 wheels. I have the 355 ones on and they're pretty nice too. Of course, anything over the stock 17's is an improvement, safer and offers more current tire tech on replacements, be they 18's or 19's.
