    The top up spoils the car, Ferrari could have designed this part of the car better.

    Weird is an understatemant. I really love the Barchetta, but that top is nothing but ridiculous.

    Well as the concept of the Barchetta is open top the soft top was designed for "emergencies only" it wasn't meant to be driven with the top up very much.

    Unless its a retractable hard-top i'll take the slightly worse looking soft top anyday, there is no substitute for having the top down (especially when the hard top is still fugly IMO)

    Heres a few I saw during the Concorso Italiano/Concourse de Elegance/Historic Races weekend in Monterey.

    The maroon 550 is owned by Bob Wallach (has tons of exotics including an Enzo which i started!). The red one taken from behind was at the races, and the one on the road was taken when it was getting off an exit and I was goin about 80.. came out great.

    If anyone wants any other specific pics from the weekend let me know. (including from auctions, etc.)

    Best car weekend of my life.
